ABOUT ME

Throughout my career, I've found myself asking the same question:

How does this actually feel from the customers perspective?

Not simply how a business looks, but how people experience it.

Part of that has come from building my own business and working closely with clients. Part of it has come from being fortunate enough to experience some truly exceptional hotels, restaurants and brands around the world.

Those experiences changed the way I see things.

I've become the person who notices the details others often walk past. The welcome. The atmosphere. The way a space flows. The little moments that feel effortless because somebody cared enough to think about them long before a customer arrived.

Over time, I realised I wasn't simply appreciating great experiences, I was trying to understand why they worked.

That way of thinking has followed me throughout my career.

Today, I work with businesses to help them understand the gap between the experience they intend to create and the experience people actually have.

Because people rarely remember every detail.

They remember how you made them feel.

About me

Throughout my career, I've become fascinated by how people experience businesses.

Not simply how they look, but how they feel.

That curiosity has been shaped not only through building my own business and working closely with clients, but also through experiencing some truly exceptional brands and destinations around the world.

I've always found myself paying attention to the details others often overlook. The welcome. The atmosphere. The flow of a space. The moments that feel effortless because somebody has thought carefully about them long before the customer arrived.

Those experiences taught me that great customer experience is rarely about extravagance. It's about intention. It's the result of hundreds of thoughtful decisions that together create something people remember.

Over time, I realised I wasn't just appreciating these experiences, I was analysing them. Wondering why one place felt unforgettable while another, despite having all the right ingredients, somehow fell short.

That curiosity has become the thread running through my career.

Today, I enjoy helping businesses understand the gap between the experience they intend to create and the experience people actually have.

Because people rarely remember every detail.

They remember how you made them feel.

Ways we can work together

Ways we can work together

Most businesses know what they want customers to experience, far fewer know what customers actually experience. That's where I come in.

Every project begins with a conversation, because understanding your business is just as important as understanding your customers

No two projects are the same, but my work typically falls into three areas:

HOW I WORK

No two businesses are the same, so I don't believe in rigid packages or one size fits all solutions.

The work I enjoy most begins with curiosity. A conversation. An opportunity to understand what a business is trying to achieve, how people experience it today, and where those two things don't quite align.

Sometimes I'm invited to help shape the customer or guest experience.

Sometimes it's bringing an independent perspective to a project that's already underway.

Sometimes it's walking through a space and understanding how people move, interact and feel within it.

Other times it's helping teams reconnect with the experience they want their customers to have, ensuring every decision supports that vision.

Whatever the brief, my role is rarely to tell people what to do. It's to ask thoughtful questions, notice the details that are easy to overlook, and help uncover opportunities that strengthen both the experience and the commercial outcome.

I work best alongside businesses that genuinely care about how people experience their brand, whether that's through a physical environment, a customer journey or the many small moments that shape how people feel long after they've left.

If that sounds like the kind of conversation you'd value, I'd love to hear from you.
